UK Roofing and Improvements Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), company number 16959426, registered office Whittington Hall, Whittington Road, Worcester, WR5 2ZX.

We provide fixed, written quotes with no hidden costs. There is no call-out fee for inspections or quotes. Where full access isn't yet possible (e.g. concealed valleys, restricted scaffold sightlines) we will issue a written estimate and confirm the fixed price after a proper survey. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Concealed defects discovered once works commence (e.g. rotten timbers, hidden flashing failures) will be itemised, photographed and agreed in writing before any extra work proceeds.

Works are confirmed once you sign and return our quotation.

A reasonable deposit is taken to secure materials and the booking, with the balance due on satisfactory completion. Stage payments can be arranged for larger projects by agreement, set out in writing before work begins. Final invoices are due within 14 days of completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments accrue statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.

Full roof replacements, chimney works and flat roofs carry a 10-year guarantee covering both materials and labour. All repairs and maintenance work carry a 2-year guarantee, also covering materials and labour. Guarantees cover defects caused by our workmanship or supplied materials; they do not cover storm damage, third-party interference, fair wear and tear, or pre-existing structural issues outside the scope of works.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from contract acceptance to cancel without charge, unless works have already commenced at your express written request. After this period, cancellation fees may apply to cover materials ordered and labour already scheduled.

We hold full public liability insurance with cover up to £5,000,000 (£5M). Our total liability is limited to the value of the contract. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the property for the duration of works including, where required, permission to erect scaffolding. We will leave the site clean and free of debris at completion.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
